So I think that the affirmative action debate is actually really misunderstood in this country, because if you remember, I used to be on the faculty of UC Irvine, and I taught, I was actually on the admissions committee for two years there. Affirmative action has not been allowed at UC's in quite a long time. Full stop. Right. So the question is whether race can be used as a factor in admissions. Now, the debate was ended when the Supreme Court a few years ago said, you can't use that anymore. (56:04–56:09)
