I put forward a balanced budget in January that include $18.2 million more than what the General assembly included in their budget. We showed the amount necessary the AD districts came up and said that amount was necessary. Yet still The General assembly provided $9.1 million less in senior meal funding than we had put forward. Their decision to short the program was cruel and careless and put more seniors at risk for hunger. (23:59–24:07)
