John Cornyn and I and other members of Judiciary got together and we actually hammered out a bill in the Judiciary Committee that We provided a path to earn citizenship for undocumented people who are here, 11 million at the time. We provided for more visas, agricultural visas, as well as H1B visas for industry and manufacturing. We provided a number of reforms to the asylum process to eliminate the backlog asylum claims and provided more resources for judges. (46:14–46:19)
