A Milwaukee police officer remains in Freighter Hospital. I can report he is expected to survive. His injuries are not considered life threatening. He was shot multiple times this afternoon near 27th and Wisconsin by a suspect who is brandishing some sort of long gun believed to be an AK47 or something like that.
