And so simply by just taking the gun out of this situation, it helps prevent something from happening. It's been done in other states, it's been effective. Numbers do go down when laws like this [cooling off period for guns] pass. So we think this is one way that we can help with this problem. Well, it's interesting, I think, you know, because there's a fair amount of resistance in Vermont to any, any bill involving restrictions on firearms. (08:55–08:59)
