Appropriations takes up most of my time, and it does so because I am now a senior member of our House Appropriations Committee. I'm in my eighth year of service on appropriations. The Appropriations Committee oversees and molds our annual federal funding bills. So we are responsible for overseeing and funding all of our federal government. And that's a big job.
