“You know, justices on the Wisconsin Supreme Court don't sentence anybody, but they do occasionally take up cases that involve criminal justice issues, issues arising from criminal cases. And I'll just point out that The Schimmel campaign and all of the, you know, Elon Musk ads that are being run against me really cherry pick a couple of cases involving sex offenses that they are sensationalizing. And those are cases in which I sentenced the offenders to several years in prison, I followed by several years of extended supervision, Department of Corrections supervision, and required them to be on the sex offender registry for the rest of their lives.” (22:49–23:03)
