We should be holding regular lease sales on federal lands in Alaska, including in Cook Inlet, in the NPRA, and on the coastal plain as required by law. We need those to bolster resource development and create jobs for Alaskans across the state. You cannot tell me that it is better to import lng than it is to produce our own gas from our own cook inlet. I have a record of pushing for lease sales from introducing the Alaska Energy Production and Fisheries Protection act, co sponsoring the free act to tackle permitting reform, and championing changes in the Fiscal Responsibility act that should make development easier.
