To be very clear, I oppose the NPRA rule and the RFI process to expand special areas. This is a federal petroleum reserve, not a federal wilderness. We need lease sales and permits we can produce responsibly without harming the environment. On the final rule, we received the lawsuits filed against it and decided that they were so strong, especially in light of the loper bright overturning Chevron deference, that we didn't need to file a disapproval resolution.
