I have repeatedly stood up to this administration and bureaucratic agencies when they have pursued policies that endanger our resource industry. We do resource development better than anyone else, and administrative policies will simply increase our reliance on foreign sources of oil. This threatens our national security and is worse for our economy and it's worse for the environment. There's no question that oil from Alaska should take precedence over oil from Iran, Venezuela, Russia, and other bad actors. (08:31–08:42)
