This rule and this new process have ignored those voices, especially Alaska natives who live in the north slope, despite numerous promises that indigenous people will have a seat at the table in major decisions made by this administration. To be very clear, I oppose the NPRA rule and the RFI process to expand special areas. This is a federal petroleum reserve, not a federal wilderness.
