Today we find ourselves at a similar inflection point, faced with a largely unregulated tech industry that's harming users over and over again in favor of growth at all costs. Our response must be strong, and it must be multifaceted. We have to reform antitrust laws so they make sense for digital markets that have next to no real competition. We have to implement a comprehensive privacy law that provides consumers with key data rights. We need to make narrow reforms to Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. (13:33–13:40)
