And we need comprehensive transparency requirements, which has been a focus of mine over the past 18 months and are essential to supporting each of the proposals I just listed. So most recently I wrote the Digital Services Oversight and Safety act [DSOSA] to fulfill the need for comprehensive transparency legislation. and to hold companies accountable for the promises they make to consumers, advertisers and parents. Now, dasosa takes inspiration from the transparency and oversight reforms in the financial sector to add much needed protections for consumers online. (14:06–14:11)
