Some people have a calendar year fiscal year. The state has a different fiscal year than the federal fiscal year. County as well. And so Our federal fiscal year starts October 1st of each year. we start a new federal fiscal year. We fund the federal government once a year. We don't do a two year budget, we do a one year budget.
