I'm serving my eighth year on Appropriations. In Appropriations, we have subcommittees where we specialize. In turn, there's a number of subcommittees, 12 subcommittees in all. I'm on the Defense subcommittee, which has half of our federal budget. Also on the Homeland Security subcommittee, which as you can imagine, is kind of a pretty hot subcommittee nowadays.
