But there are two things that are driving this more than anything else and that those both arise from the reconciliation budget bill of last summer, sometimes referred to as the one big beautiful bill or one big ugly bill, depending on your perspective. A huge bill that I voted against that did a number of things. It's a thousand page bill. Obviously there's things in there that I could support. But on balance what it did was to increase expenses while reducing revenues, thus driving up national debt, which I didn't agree with. (36:09–36:16)
