So because of the issues around criminal justice and police brutality, actually led me to criminal justice reform with my work leading up to the legislature. So I served as a pre trial caseworker, a social worker, working with people that had pending charges, making sure that they were compliant with court, but also supporting them on the backside if they needed employment, iota treatment or mental health. Things that the courts can't address, but things that we could help with. And I got really good at what I was doing to the point where I was just so frustrated. (03:39–03:55)
