Amanda I am really proud of the record that I built as a winning advocate to defend families like mine from Republican politicians who are trying to use the marriage of my two moms as a wedge issue to divide our state. I definitely have beaten plenty of Republicans and my races have been really proud to have the chance to represent and win elections in small town and rural Iowa. I loved representing Cedar county over the four years of my first term and continue to represent small town and rural areas today. These voters are frustrated with leaders in both parties.
