The problem is the CDC did lose some public confidence during COVID but now that's only going to be worse and people look to the CDC for advice. It's very confusing for most people now on whether to get a COVID vaccine, whether their insurance will cover it, whether they have to have a prescription from their doctor. You don't in Massachusetts and Maine, but you're going to have to in some other states. So it's a problem.
