If I tell a person in another country the United States is getting really interested in your country, you're probably going to be worried. You're afraid that shouldn't be true. You should welcome American interest. But What American interest now means is too scary. And that's why I think we need to look more deeply at what really is in our interests and not act as if we know what is in everybody's interest and as if everybody's interest is the same.
