There was this case involving this Chinese. It was a Chinese, I guess, American, because he was born here. The parents were legal immigrants, so they had a right to be here under. Under US Law, they did not have citizenship. But then the question was, does the child born in America under those circumstances have citizenship? And the U.S. supreme Court said yes, per the 14th Amendment. And that may be true, but that doesn't mean that if those parents snuck into the country illegally that you would get citizenship on there. So it creates a lot of problems. (28:03–28:16)
