There's a perspective on the right that I'm glad to see is declining, but it's a neoconservative perspective that seems to believe that the United States post World War Two has a role in the globe as essentially world police. And, you know, We're only 5% of the population globally as the United States. We don't have the ability to play enforcer around the world and pay for that.
