Teachers know what students are facing, whether it's with academic, with mental health, with their family issues. They can step in and help with those issues and should be the lead on them. We don't have the ability to train our law enforcement officials to be able to answer to every issue that comes up. And if we do need to have law enforcement in the school, we need to tell the students why. (46:04–46:13)
