And think about how public school teachers are portrayed now by the Republicans and scapegoated and blamed it is really unforgettable. We can make changes in our state by making sure that we are financially supporting our teachers, that we have the score, the ability for collective bargaining and receiving benefits. Where I live on the west side of the state, we are seeing teachers cross the river to go to Minnesota for work and come back to Wisconsin because they can get better pay and better benefits by teaching in Minnesota.
