Over the past 15 years, we've learned that as Section 702 is used to collect the majority of of Internet communications coming in and out of the United States, it has also collected vast quantities of Americans information. And we've learned that The FBI has routinely abused its ability to query section 702 data to spy on protesters, donors to Congressional campaigns, advisors to the President, members of Congress and member staff. We've even learned that NSA employees use the FISA database to look up their Tinder matches. Given this history, I want to advocate for two basic reforms. (08:19–08:34)
