It is cold comfort that the so called reforms in this FISA bill essentially consist of Tulsi Gabbard checking cash Patel's homework when it's just been reported that The FBI has been querying these databases to investigate a New York Times reporter after she reported that Director Patel had misused government resources. So Mr. Chairman, Chairwoman Fox, while I oppose this bill as is written, I would urge that it could be amended to address the concerns about abuse that have caused the House to reject the extension in the past.
