And how can we come up with a policy that we think will help stop this bad action from happening, but not in such an overly broad way that we go back in this instance. We do not want to go back to the policies that California had in the eighties and nineties, which were called, like, the tough on crime times, where we locked up a lot of people, and especially, you know, black and latino Californians for long periods of time for minor offenses. And so we don't want to do that, but we do want to address the problem that's happening. And then I introduce a bill in January. (1:30:00–1:30:20)
