That bill was not successful in the end, but it created a massive, massive, massive amount of attention around how big of a problem this is and how 20% of California community college students had experienced some period of homelessness in the prior year before survey that they took. And so even though I was unsuccessful in 2019, in 2021, I was able to get $40 million in the budget every year. (30:13–30:23)
