My first job was with Shell Oil, and I was a franchise representative. So I worked with their corporate stores. I was there during the transition in the industry from auto repair to convenience stores. So I was with them seven years or so. Eventually did West coast promotions and advertising, but very involved in the industry. I went on to get my MBA at Pepperdine while I was there with Shell. (07:06–07:12)
