That is an issue that, in my opinion, is purple. We all want our kids to come out of school with the basics necessary to find success. We should anyway, right? That was a bill that was actually authored by a Republican senator. It didn't matter because it was the right answer. And my job was very successfully in working with both sides to make that happen.
