It is critical that we invest in law enforcement and public safety across the state of Wisconsin. The level of violence that we have seen in Milwaukee and in communities across the country is unacceptable. Unfortunately, We have had underfunding of public safety in Wisconsin for decades now. My Safer Wisconsin plan would invest over $115 million in communities across the state of Wisconsin into things like community policing and prosecution officer, wellness recruitment and retention, victim services, and mental health crisis response.
