Health care is a serious issue, and I've been doing some reading on it, and I was amazed to find out that in the United States, taxpayers fund about 35% of the population's health care insurance. Yet when Compared to other industrialized countries, we're spending more than they spend on our entire population. So from my perspective, it's a hard sell to try to look at a single payer for Vermont. We did it under the Shumleton administration. It was proven that it's far too expensive. (23:01–23:09)
