When I started this campaign, the first thing I did was starting to reduce policies to writing and to invite people to hold me accountable. And I did that because I saw that Mayor Bloomberg had done that. And while I saw that Mayor Bloomberg had done that... there were some things that he did from an integrity standpoint that I thought were a good model for government to aspire to. And so one of the policies was a policy for your community, obviously, I've known long about how you were being forced out of senior care, and I thought that that was unfair. (20:09–20:31)
