The legislature wrote that the legislature increases the resources for school districts through increases in the per pupil adjustment under revenue limits. I agree. We need more and better school and library funding here in our state. To be clear, The legislature has the financial means to help our public schools. They are simply choosing not to. It's a choice. And while they're able to make that harmful choice, we shouldn't let them. This legislature is sitting on a surplus money that we paid as taxpayers, believing that it would be put to good public use.
