Listen, one thing about what's going on with data centers and especially what I outlined in my most recent directive putting a halt to any more approval of data centers, is the reality of what ERCOT was working on. ERCOT was tracking a lot of these data center projects that would have increased power demand from our grid by more than 500%. which could obviously pose challenges for a grid. My job as governor, but also the laws passed by the legislature require us to maintain a stable and reliable grid. (11:11–11:23)
