And so I think that brilliant tension really does ultimately benefit the citizens. I've worked for all three different levels of government, fed, state and local. And the numbers that I tell people is that The local government I would argue actually controls about 60% of your life, the state controls 30, and the feds control about 10% of your life. Because if you look around your local police department, your local district attorney, your local planning, zoning, building, your local as you were, school board, library, district, that basically controls everything that you see around you.
