Because if you go back from 2012 to the fall of 2022, we had about a 59% turnover rate with prosecutors, leaving us with About 65% of [prosecutors] have less than 10 years or less experience. which has put a tremendous burden on the criminal justice system. And so taking this narrow request to the legislature, and I will say this, we've had a great partnership with the legislature and passed budgets on some forms of pay progression. (07:23–07:28)
