And if an administration wants to continue fighting in a foreign war more than three years, that's fine. They've just got to make the case again to Congress. You can't just keep riding on those same authorities. And This would be prospective, not retrospective. So any new authorizations of military force would have a sunset of three years. We are trying very hard to maintain the bipartisan nature of this Pentagon budget. We need both Democrats and Republicans to pass this in order for it to pass the House. (14:48–14:59)
