I thought there was tremendous tribute to the public private partnership that put us in a position in less than a year to have multiple vaccines of high, unbelievably high efficacy. I remember when we were talking early on, Successful vaccine was defined as something that would give you 50% protection. We had two in the 90s, another in the high 70s or low 80s. and again the effort, previous efforts up to four years. This was done in about 10 months. I remember talking to an NIH scientist who said, do your constituents realize this is the biomedical equivalent of the Manhattan Project? (10:19–10:29)
