Some people here at Notre Dame were cooking up technologies, sensor technologies that could allow a sewer to be sewer system to be managed more efficiently. And By doing [this], it could save hundreds of millions of dollars, which meant thousands of dollars per family in their water rates in a low income community like South Bend. And so as an example of this collaboration that led to a small business that wound up serving other cities with the same problem around the country, created jobs here and did good out there.
