And so having somebody who is not a kind of mealy mouthed moderate, but somebody who is willing to call out Trump's authoritarian regime and say ICE is incompatible with a free society and we should abolish it, We can secure our borders and have meaningful immigration enforcement without brutalizing people. I think that's called for. This is a moment that really requires moral clarity.
