The most important thing that we can do is appropriately fund our local governments and our public schools at the state level. That means getting to the two thirds funding commitment that was made but has never been met. But It also means fixing the way that those dollars are distributed because right now it's deeply inequitable. My family moved to rural Taylor county. That's where I was a little girl. And they moved because of the quality of the public education system here in Wisconsin 47 years ago. (33:36–33:42)
