On behalf of the City of Los Angeles, I want to offer the condolences of our city to Archbishop Jose Gomez. We come together now in these chambers Just over 100 days after a natural disaster, a firestorm that also reminds us of how the world can change in an instant. The aftermath of this disaster, we weighs on our city, which already had huge challenges before us. We feel it every day. The strain of the housing crisis, the tragedy of the homelessness crisis.
