Under the Reed bill, a family of four in Houston would see their premiums more than double by $1,352 a year. Now, I find it supremely ironic that perhaps the next vote we have here on the Senate floor after this health care bill is going to be a vote to increase the statutory debt limit because Congress has maxed out its credit card.
