This was not obviously a sincere effort where we had eight Democrats who wrote a letter on October 6th to the majority leader and said they want the bill 72 hours before the first vote. Well, guess what? This historic vote we're going to have at 1 in the morning will occur 40 hours roughly after we got the bill. So much for 72 hours. We don't know that CBO, the Congressional Budget Office score the cost. Their estimate, even with the phony assumptions that are included in this bill, will only be available for 37 hours. (07:53–08:01)
CLAIM
