I appreciate that in a much more profound way now that I'm running for Congress. Water is our lifeblood. We must protect it. My view is We grow crops here in Pueblo county, in Otero county, and Los Animas county, not houses in Aurora. period. Farmers and ranchers are critical for our environment. They contribute a ton to our economy, and they are part of the fabric of who we are as Colorado. (14:06–14:12)
