I grew up in western Colorado, graduated from Grand Junction High School, learned about public service from my dad, who led the Marillac clinic, making sure families had healthcare. I've been chairman of the Grand Junction Area Chamber, taught here at CMU, and helped low income rural Coloradans get free legal help. My wife, Barbara, and I are raising five kids here. I want to create a better future for them and for the kids and families in Craig Cortez, La Junta and everywhere between. (06:48–06:56)
