One is on the front range. It imports jobs, money and opportunity. The other is in rural Colorado. There, our greatest export are our kids. Many grow up, leave and don't come back. I'm running to create opportunities so that families in rural Colorado can stay and thrive. This is personal for me. I grew up in western Colorado, graduated from Grand Junction High School, learned about public service from my dad, who led the Marillac clinic, making sure families had healthcare. (06:30–06:38)
