I've been campaigning for well over a year now. I've lost in so many events, I've lost track. I'm right here, though. But, Adam, here's what I've learned. Campaigning is not a box checking exercise. You can have all the money in the world, and you do. And you can travel all across the district but still lose. You gotta be authentic, you gotta connect with people, and you gotta earn their trust. And that's what I've tried to do. That's what wins elections, not checking boxes. (47:05–47:13)
