I'm now a congressman, so I see it from all angles. Massachusetts is roughly 250,000 units of housing short over the next decade. We will suffocate our middle class here if we don't build about a quarter million units of housing. And our governor, much to her credit, is going after NIMBYism at the local level through a bill called the MBTA Communities act which basically says to localities which in New England, England have a tremendous amount of autonomy over zoning.
